Why Learn From Me?
My journey really started when I played at one of the biggest music festivals in the world…
And quit.
In my teens, I dreamed of playing like my heroes: Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, BB King… and tons of others…
But my friends always picked things up faster than I did.
I struggled to make progress.
After years of trial and error, I found myself in a band.
By A Stroke Of Luck, We Got A Record Deal
We got featured on the radio, in a few magazines, and shared the stage with some of our favorite bands.
Sure, I could play a few chords. But little did everyone know…
I had no clue what I was actually doing on guitar!
That was, until one particular night changed it all.
I quit my “fake” band. And tried out for a “real” band with real musicians.
They told me to {gulp} improvise a solo (which I’d never done before).
With my hands sweating and the pick shaking in my fingers…
The moment came.
I hit the wrong note…
And completely humiliated myself in front of everyone.
That’s When I Went On A Mission
To Figure It All Out
I tried everything…
Countless nights of YouTube videos. Chord books, scale books, theory books. Online courses. Apps. You name it, I bought it.
I even took private lessons from three different teachers.
But nothing worked.
I got stuck in a rut. And I got so frustrated I almost quit guitar for good.
Luckily, I finally found a teacher who showed me how music really worked in a way I could understand.
After 14 Years I Finally “Cracked The Code”
My friends and family were shocked by how good I was able to get in a short time.
Next thing I knew, they started asking ME for lessons.
Then years later, I opened a private guitar school where I’ve been helping guitar players just like you ever since.
